INTECH INVESTMENTS DISCUSSES BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES IN RWANDA

INTech Investments was invited on the 8th of May 2017 to a seminar on Rwanda Trade and Investment at The Federation of Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture of Lebanon (FCCIAL)’s headquarters, in Beirut.
The Chairman of FCCIAL, Mr. Mohamed Choucair, welcomed Rwanda’s Ambassador to Lebanon, Ambassador Williams Nkurunziza in Lebanon and introduced his Excellency to a group of 30 leading businessmen in Lebanon.
Amb Nkurunziza highlighted Rwanda’s readiness for business and described it as one of Africa’s fastest growing economies encouraging Lebanese entrepreneurs to explore this conducive market.
His Excellency talked about the benefits of investing in Rwanda and provided information on issues such as land ownership, capital repatriation, labour skills and costs, purchasing power and industrial protection.


Mr. Tarek Ragheb, Founder and Chairman of INTech Investments was among the speakers and described Rwanda as “an efficient European economy operating in the heart of Africa.” Mr. Ragheb discussed several projects INTech projects in Rwanda which included paper recycling and tin mining. Mr Ragheb ended his talk by encouraging investors to look at construction and environmentally friendly projects.


Hana Hallaj, MD of INTech Investments spoke about the ease of doing business in Rwanda and outlined the benefits for industrial investments represented by the flagship Made-in-Rwanda campaign.
INTech Investments is set to facilitate a study tour for leading Lebanese entrepreneurs wishing to visit Rwanda later this year to explore investment and trade opportunities.
